Kellogg appoints new UK and Ireland md
Dave Lawlor was named the new md of Kellogg’s UK and Irish business, joining from the company’s Russian arm where he served as general manager for eight years.
Lawlor joined Kellogg in 1991, starting his career as a sales manager in the manufacturer’s Dublin office. He has also run the firm’s Middle Eastern business and helped launch its joint venture with Ulker.
Commenting on his appointment, Lawlor said: “Kellogg’s has been a part of life in the UK and Ireland for generations and around eight out of 10 homes have one of our products in their kitchen cupboard.
“So, I’m excited about the opportunity to work with my new team to grow our business. With almost half of breakfasts in the UK and Ireland being a cereal one, we see lots of potential for the future.”
