New president for grocery think-tank
Grocery think tank IGD has elected Coca-Cola European Partners’ vice-president Leendert den Hollander as the organisation’s new president.
He will succeed former Asda chief executive Andy Clarke who has served his two-year term as president.
Hollander’s appointment comes three months after being made vice-president of IGD.
Commenting on his new role as president, Hollander said: “I’m delighted to have been elected to the presidency by IGD’s Board of Trustees. This organisation has a unique role in bringing together our industry from farm to fork.
“With such important and high-impact charitable programmes, I look forward to continuing the excellent work that Joanne and the team have been delivering, with the support of Andy.”
