Pasta from the sea
Seamore has created a novel new use for seaweed, by turning it into pasta.
The natural and organic I Sea Pasta is made from seaweed picked from the Irish coast and is billed as being healthier than conventional wheat pasta.
The creation was the brainchild of founder Willem Sodderland, who, while on holiday, mistook the seaweed in his salad for green tagliatelle.
Seamore bills the pasta as containing more than three times the amount of omega 3 needed in an adult’s daily diet and it has twice the amount of iron as spinach.
I Sea Pasta is available to buy from Planet Organic at £5.99 per 100g.
