Samworth Brothers
Samworth Brothers made £858M in revenue, and £67M in profit this year. It is now the 61st fastest growing private company in Britain, according to the latest Top Track 100 League Table.
The Ginsters manufacturer continued to grow year-on-year, as Samworth Brothers rises 13 places up the Top Track 100 League Table from last year. The Leicestershire-based company also made £67M more in sales than last year, generating an improved profit of £10M.
This improvement was largely related to the company’s acquisition of sports nutrition brand SCI-MX in October 2015. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, allowed Samworth Brothers to enter the growing sports nutrition sector.
