Greenvale, the potato supplier has appointed John Lyons as business unit director at its ingredients manufacturing business Swancote Foods.
Lyons, who has a Master’s degree in Food Science from University College Dublin, joins Swancote from Ferndale Foods where he was general manager. He has previously worked for Greencore where he won several technical excellence awards, Monaghan Mushrooms, Northern Foods and Unilever.
Lyons said: “Greenvale is an ambitious organisation and the opportunity to develop Swancote’s food ingredients business is extremely exciting. I am joining a highly professional and impressive team and I am looking forward to helping them build a really special organisation”.
