UK coffee sourcing, roasting and packaging specialist, Lincoln & York, has recruited a european sales manager as part of plans to expand its supply on the continent.
Franz Foerster joins the private label coffee roaster after over three decades working in the international coffee industry.
Foerster has worked for global players in coffee as an international business developer and sales manager in both out of home and foodservice. Having previously lived and worked in Switzerland, Austria, Singapore, Kuala-Lumpur, Hong Kong and the US, he has a wealth of experience in the global coffee industry and speaks fluent English as well as German.
He has been brought on board to establish Lincoln & York in new markets on the continent. Following the installation of the UK’s largest coffee roaster in 2014, the business is primed with capacity and well-equipped to service high volume requirements.
Lincoln & York works with customers to create bespoke blends and packaging. Coffees are sourced from over 40 origins and available in a range of certifications including UTZ, Fairtrade, Organic and Rainforest Alliance Certified. The company was named at one of Europe’s best coffee roasters at the European Coffee Symposium in 2011 and currently supplies customers in France, Holland, Poland, Denmark, Ukraine and Singapore.
