Korean superfood Kimchi is launching in the UK nationwide this month.
The cabbage product, which is fermented with spices, has been a staple in Korea since the 7th Century.
The recipe is 100% natural and includes fermented cabbage with chilli, garlic, radish, carrot, salt and ginger.
It can be eaten as a side dish or with salads, barbecue food, as well as alongside traditional rice and noodle dishes.
Kimchi, according Japanese brand Yutaka, is packed with fibre, vitamins and minerals and boasts a wealth of anti-oxidants. It is only 13 calories per 100g.
Kimchi was recently chosen as one of the world’s five healthiest foods by American magazine Health in March 2016. Yukata is backed by Tazaki Foods, the Japanese food supplier. Its range of Japanese food products were introduced to the UK market in 1997.
