This month also saw more movement at the top of Hilton Food group as Theo Bergman, the chief operating officer for continental Europe, stepped down from the board.
The company said the move was due to “personal circumstances” but he will continue to work for Hilton on a number of projects.
Bergman’s operational responsibilities will be assumed by Philip Heffer who has been appointed chief operating officer for all Hilton's businesses.
Hilton Food Group chief executive Robert Watson said: “On behalf of the board I would like to thank Theo for his significant contribution to Hilton since 2000, having played a pivotal role in the successful growth of the group. I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
Earlier this month Hilton Food Group revealed that two of its board members would retire in May: non-executive chairman Sir David Naish and non-executive director Chris Marsh.
