Net debt increases
2 Sisters faced a difficult start to the year after avian influenza and IT woes impacted its results for the 13 weeks to the end of January.
Boparan Holdings, the firm’s parent company, added £21.5M to net debt in the period, increasing it from £681.2M in the previous quarter to £702.7M.
2 Sisters ceo Ranjit Singh said: “Given the hurdles we are currently facing, we have delivered a creditable performance and are stabilising the business.”
