A range of alcohol-free patisserie glazes has been launched by cooking alcohol specialist Gourmet Classic.

The products will eliminate the need to produce fruit coulis and reductions, saving pastry chefs and manufacturers time and money, it claims.

Each glaze contains natural fruit and has an intense flavour, Gourmet says. The range contains only natural ingredients and has been developed to preserve integrity and taste, the company adds.

Appeal to a wider audience

Despite the firm specialising in cooking alcohol, the range contains no alcohol, in a bid to appeal to a wider audience, it says.

There are eight vibrant glazes, which include: apple & pear, blackcurrant, sour cherry, lemon & lime, bitter orange, pineapple, raspberry and strawberry.

‘Perfect’

The products complement Gourmet Classic’s current alcohol-free savoury range of glazes.

“Made with natural flavours evoking the taste of the Mediterranean, these glazes are perfect drizzled over salads or used in classic Mediterranean dishes, such as Greek salads, tapas or pasta dishes,” the firm says.
