Cake firm invests hundreds of thousands
Cake Décor has invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in new production equipment to help it produce innovative new products.
The Glasgow-based cake decoration business has installed new high-speed filling kit to produce products for the plant bakery and food-to-go market.
These products will include chocolate dipping sauce pots and ready-made icing in bags for ready-to-go snack packs and decoration kits.
High hopes
The firm’s sales director Danielle Harvey said she had high hopes about the latest new product development.
“We are really looking to expand the range of products we produce both for the trade and the consumer and the dipping pots and icing bags have inspired our customers to be more creative with their food-to-go offerings and also offer baking kits for special occasions and children,” she added.
