Thorntons boss to stand down
Chocolate manufacturer Thorntons was forced to start the search for a new ceo, after Jonathan Hart announced his desire to leave the business in June.
Hart, who has held the role since 2011, will quit the firm at the end of its financial year on June 27 2015.
Thorntons current chief operating officer, Barry Bloomer, will act as interim chief executive until a permanent successor is found.
The firm’s chairman, Paul Wilkinson, praised Hart for making a “significant contribution” during his tenure with the business.
