In the most recent edition of the popular programme, the show’s host Evan Davis said over the past 10 years the Dragons had proved there was an “appetite to invest in ventures of the food and drink variety”.
Dragons Duncan Bannatyne and Peter Jones invested £100,000 each for a joint 30% share in Scottish energy drink firm and cash and carry Glencrest and Nae Danger in the show broadcast on Sunday (March 15).
In the same broadcast, the Dragons refused to sink their teeth into one entrepreneur’s edible insect business.
