Obesity webinar provides food for thought
To separate the fact from fiction surrounding Britain’s obesity crisis, the Food Manufacture Group hosted a free one-hour webinar featuring leading nutritionists.
During the webinar – Obesity and health: the big fat, sugar and salt debate – speakers called for food science to be given a greater role in the debate and the roots and remedies of the obesity crisis.
The expert speakers were the Food and Drink Federation’s Barbara Gallani; Wolfson Institute of Preventive Medicine’s Professor Graham McGregor; University of Leeds’ Dr Charlotte Evans and Southampton Biomedical Research Centre’s Professor Alan Jackson.
