Freshtime appoints two Bakkavor workers
Fresh chilled food manufacturer Freshtime UK poached two new members of staff from Bakkavor this month.
Kelly Tuplin joined the Boston-based business as new product development technologist, following six years at Bakkavor’s Cucina Sano business.
She is joined at Freshtime by Michaela Watson, who has been appointed as quality assurance compliance manager.
Watson has over a decade of experience in food manufacturing, gained at Bakkavor, Lincolnshire Field Produce and Home Farm Produce.
She started her career as a weekend worker in a Freshtime factory.
Watson said: “I got my first taste of Freshtime when I worked weekends in the factory when I was younger. It’s great to be back and part of a business that is expanding, as it offers room for growth within my career.”
