Up to eight tonnes of seed is moved from the silos at a time to be dressed and dried before it can be milled.
There are five dressers dating back to the 1950s, however, only one dresser needs to be used since it was made more efficient.
The designs of the dressers are based on ones that date back to the 1500s.
Seeds are shaken through four trays to remove dirt and other contaminants and then dried for three to four hours at 60°C until they reach a moisture level of between three and four percent.
Each year 14t to 15t of brown seed, five to six tonnes of white seed and 20t of black seed are dressed at the site.
