CONSUMER GOODS FORUM GLOBAL SUMMIT
CCE seizes on World Cup for health drive
Among the exhibitors at the conference was Coca-Cola, which was proudly displaying its Brazil 2014 World Cup marketing campaign at its stand.
The company, which was one of the core sponsors of the CGF’s summit, closed its competition to win a trip to the World Cup on June 13.
As part of its promotional package, Coca-Cola Great Britain is giving consumers the chance to win up to 1M limited edition Coca-Cola footballs in the run up to the tournament. The Win a Ball competition runs until July 13.
To have a chance of winning, shoppers enter unique codes on selected promotional packs of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero.
For every valid entry, Coca-Cola is donating 10p to StreetGames, the UK charity that aims to bring sport to the doorsteps of young people in disadvantaged communities.
The move was part of its efforts to take responsibility for consumers’ health and encourage them to lead a more active lifestyle this summer, connecting with one of the summit’s main themes: health and wellness.
