Seeds recalled over glass and stones fears
Lawncourt Harvest recalled its Munchy Seeds Honey Seeds over fears the product might contain small stones and pieces of glass.
The Suffolk-based firm pulled its 160g and 420g tubs of the seeds with ‘best before’ dates of September 19 and 24 2014.
It said due to a potential foreign body contamination it was recalling two batches of its Honey Seeds as a precautionary measure.
“If you have bought the above product, please do not eat it,” the company added in a statement. “Instead, return it to the store where you bought it or contact the company directly for a full refund.
“We hope you will accept our apologies for the dissatisfaction and inconvenience this may cause.”
