Oreo takes the biscuit
Oreo is the food brand with the sixth most amount of ‘likes’ Facebook users in the UK, with 1.8M (1,838,183).
Worldwide, Oreo has nearly 26M ‘likes’ and describes its page as a “fun, family-friendly community where people can share their passion for Oreo, and where Oreo can interact with those who love the world’s favourite cookie”.
Mondelez opened its first UK production line for the manufacturing of Oreo biscuits in Sheffield, last year.
Meanwhile, last year, a dispute broke out over whether or not the biscuits were as addictive as cocaine for rats.
