Monster Energy powers up likes
The final brand on the list of top 10 food and drink brands by Facebook ‘likes’ from UK users, according to Social Bakers, is Monster Energy.
The drinks brand has 1.2M ‘likes’ in the UK and 24M worldwide.
The firm claims not to spend money on advertising, but instead on supporting athletes and bands.
“Monster is way more than an energy drink. Led by our athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is a lifestyle in a can,” the firm claim on its Facebook page.
The page is largely used to post news about sports stars that the company sponsors.
