Moy Park appoints new agriculture development boss
Moy Park appointed Justin Coleman as its new agriculture development and improvement manager, to oversee the firm’s innovation and continuous improvement agenda across its supply base in Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
Coleman will bring 15 years’ supply chain experience to the position and play a “key strategic role” in the delivery of Moy Park’s ‘Plan to Grow’ scheme.
The initiative aims to increase breeder and broiler growing capacity by up to 400 poultry houses in Northern Ireland over the next two years.
David Gibson, director of agriculture at Moy Park, said: “Coleman’s combination of experience and in-depth agricultural knowledge will prove invaluable in his new role – helping to produce a sustainable, secure and best in class performance for the business.”
Meanwhile, Jim Sands was also appointed as site manager for Moy Park’s convenience food operation at Grantham.
