Knowledge Transfer Network appoints first ever boss
Chris Warkup was appointed as the first ever ceo of the The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), this month.
Warkup, who is currently director and ceo of the Technology Strategy Board’s (TSB) Biosciences KTN, will start his new role on April 1 2014.
“Having been director of the Biosciences KTN for the past four and a half years, I’m well aware of the success of the industry-specific KTN arrangements we’ve had in place until now,” Warkup said.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of helping to ensure that the very best of that sector-specific sharing of insight and business-led collaboration is utilised in and between all industry sectors.”
The umbrella KTN is a new vehicle which will, from April 1, develop work currently undertaken by the TSB’s Knowledge Transfer Networks (KTNs).
