Food ingredient supplier EHL Ingredients has appointed Roger Toll as its new national sales manager to oversee its growing product portfolio.

The Stockport-based business currently offers around 300 food ingredients, 200 organic products and over 50 custom blends.

Toll’s main focus will be on the UK food manufacturing and processing sectors, including retail and foodservice ready meals, soups and sauces, bakery and snacks, as well as natural and speciality food stores.

He brings seven years’ experience to the newly created role, gained at a European-based herb and spice manufacturer and supplier.

‘Growth and expansion’

Toll said: “I have been aware of EHL Ingredients for a number of years and have read and heard positive reviews about the company. I have seen it go from strength-to-strength and I am delighted to be joining the company while it is in a period of growth and expansion. I look forward to sharing my experience with the team to help drive the company forward.”

The appointment takes EHL Ingredients’ staff total to 27 at its Stockport head office.

Tasneem Backhouse, sales and marketing director at EHL Ingredients, said Toll had a great track record for helping businesses grow.
