Canmaking firm CMB Engineering has appointed Alan Grogan as its new head of quality.

Grogan has been appointed to the newly created role in a bid to optimise the current business systems and management approach and implement tools to meet customer needs.

Grogan, who has over 20 years’ experience in the engineering sector, has held a number of roles with engineering firms such as LG Philips Displays, BAE Systems, Ultra Electronics and Precision Polymer Engineering.

‘Opportunity’

Grogan said: “The opportunity to join CMB Engineering was of great interest – not just because of the knowledge and experience I will bring to the role, but because of the company’s proud history of developing people throughout their careers.”

Andrew Truelove, general manager at CMB Engineering, said: “We are extremely pleased and fortunate to have Grogan join the CMB Engineering team.”
