Food and Drink Federation appoints new president
The Food and Drink Federation appointed the president of PepsiCo UK, Ireland and South Africa, Richard Evans, as its new president this month.
Current FDF president and General Mills’ md Jim Moseley, who has held the role since 2010, will hand over the presidency at the end of the year.
Evans first joined Pepsico in 1990 within marketing on carbonated beverages in the UK. Since then he has held both functional and general management roles across Europe, Africa, South Asia and the Middle East, before taking up his current position in 2009.
The early part of his career was spent within the European toy and games industry where he was responsible for building Trivial Pursuit into 1980’s cultural icon and the number one game across Europe, according to Pepsico.
