Danone has appointed Adam Grant as the new md for its UK dairy division, including its Activia and Actimel brands.

Grant joins from Danone’s UK water division, whose brands include evian, Volvic and Badoit, where he had been md since 2009.

Grant said: “I am excited to lead this fantastic business with its incredible brands and look forward to accelerating the growth of our dairy division.”

James Pearson will take over as md of the UK water division.

Pearson has worked for Groupe Danone for several years, most recently as general manager for evian Volvic Asia.  

He joined the company from Coca Cola Enterprises in 2003 and held a number of sales leadership roles in the UK before being appointed General Manager of Danone Waters of Japan.
Pearson said: “I am delighted to return to Danone’s UK water business. It is a truly dynamic and creative company and I can’t wait to get started.”
