Food manufacturing excellence awards
Clothier crowned Personality of the year
Wyke Farms’ md Richard Clothier was crowned Food manufacturing Personality of the Year 2013.
Clothier was recognised for successfully marrying Wyke Farms’ commercial success with its environmental initiatives.
He became a hero to many firms following his David versus Goliath battle with Morrisons last year.
Clothier launched a high-profile social media campaign in a bid to persuade the retailer to reverse its decision to delist 40,000 units of Wyke Farms cheese.
Watch our exclusive video with Clothier, in which he said he was honoured to be recognised at the “Oscars of the food industry”.
