Continuous improvement ‘key’ to Iglo’s success
Iglo Foods Group won the Food Manufacturing Excellence Award for supply chain initiative, with continuous improvement projects “key to its success”, according to the judges.
The judges added that Iglo had put supply chain improvements centre stage in its business.
They said: “Iglo’s ‘every case counts’ initiative was really excellent. The higher service levels achieved, combined with better forecasting accuracy and stock reduction, were truly impressive.”
The other candidates for this award were: Avondale Foods and Thwaites.
