Domino's Pizza has appointed Sean Wilkins as its new chief financial officer designate, with effect from November 18.

Wilkins will work closely with Domino's current chief financial officer Lee Ginsberg, who is set to retire at the company's annual general meeting in 2014.

Wilkins was most recently general manager of supermarkets finance at Coles Group in Australia.

Before this he has held roles at Tesco, O2 and BT.

Lance Batchelor, chief executive, said he was “delighted” to welcome Wilkins to the role.

‘High quality’

[I] look forward to working with him to drive the Domino's business forward across our markets.  The UK and Irish businesses have so much growth ahead and with the added opportunities in Germany and Switzerland it is very exciting to have hired such a high quality chief financial officer designate to the board,” he added.

The firm also appointed David Wild as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Wild is currently senior independent director of the remuneration committee at Premier Foods.

He has previously held senior positions at Halfords Group, Walmart Stores, Tesco and RHM Foods.
