Cheese manufacturer appoints ceo after 182% growth
Cheese maker Godminster appointed Peter Andrew as its new ceo this month, following a period of significant growth for the Somerset business.
The organic cheese maker experienced a 184% increase in the sale of its organic brie over the last three months.
Andrew’s initial role will to create an international brand and a dairy range beyond cheese that compliments the company’s existing range of vodkas, chutneys and biscuits.
“However, I believe the key to our success will be developing our understanding of our core customer base and, of course, ensuring we continue to provide great tasting artisan cheese,” Andrew said.
