Nestlé vice president stands down after 23 years
Nestlé was also left with a void to fill this month as Werner Bauer announced his decision to retire after 23 years with the company.
Bauer, who will leave the firm on August 31, was described by Nestlé ceo Paul Bulcke as being “instrumental” during his time with Nestlé
“Werner Bauer shaped Nestlé’s R&D capabilities for more than 20 years and laid the scientific foundations for our innovation-driven approach to nutrition, health and wellness. He created a global R&D network and was also instrumental in paving the way for our future activities in the area of health science.”
Bauer will be succeeded by Stefan Catsicas, who will take up the role on September 1.
