New head of innovation for Food Innovations Solutions
The former development chef at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck was appointed as head of innovation at Food Innovation Solutions.
Stefan Cosser was recruited form Culinary Direction in a bid to “broaden” FIS’s creation and delivery of innovative solutions for manufacturers, retailers and restaurants.
FIS said Cosser has a “gifted ability” to marry a depth of scientific knowledge with his passion for food, and hoped his expertise would open up a “wealth of opportunity” for brands working with the firm.
Its md, Mike Faers, added: “Food is constantly changing. It evolves, delights and challenges us to think in ever more innovative ways; Stefan understands the pace and complexities of the modern food debate and delivers unique solutions that drive meaningful change for organisations.”
Cosser brings 13 years’ experience to the role, starting his career in his native Iceland in 2000.
