Mohamed Bin Issa Al Jaber and family’s wealth of £4.52bn makes them fourth on our list. This is accumulated from the family’s AJWA food distribution business in Saudi Arabia and a portfolio of hotels and resorts.
Founded in 1993, AJWA now operates the processing, distribution and marketing of food products including rice, grains, poultry, livestock feed and vegetable oil throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The AJWA Group also processes, distributes and markets edible oils and food products including frozen vegetables and fruits, bread and vegetable oil in Egypt.
Last year Al Jaber’s MBI Al Jaber Foundation gave £1M to support the restoration of the Grade II listed grand hall at Westminster University.
