As reduced packaging becomes more prevalent, labels and sleeves are winning ground over other packaging formats and linerless labels offer good green credentials.
Highlighting global pressure to produce more sustainable products, Ravenwood md Paul Beamish says: "Labelling is minimalistic by nature but, with the pressure on all manufacturers to reduce packaging waste, much attention is turning to linerless labelling."
Ravenwood Packaging recently launched a new service that will take older-model applicators and labelling systems from customers for a total refresh and return with updated software functioning.
Machines will be stripped down to their core components and rebuilt with new parts before being fully tested and guaranteed for an extended, more efficient and eco- friendly working life.
