Wireless temperature monitor crosses the pond

- Last updated on GMT

Veracity is bringing a system for wireless temperature monitoring of refrigerated food storage areas from the US to the UK.

VersaTrak uses a standard wi-fi network to transfer temperature data from the monitoring location to the computer. There's no need for extra networks, which makes it easier to maintain.

It can be cloud-based, which enables one system to be employed across multiple locations.

Its integrated self-calibration system checks the accuracy of the whole system every month, which gives the user confidence that the data they are logging is accurate.

It keeps the calibration certificates and records as a part of the electronic database and, since the reference points for each probe are certified accurate for five years, the user saves on the cost of five years of calibration checks.

The system sends alarm alerts via text, email or voicemail and the user can reply the same way.
