Poultry, chilled, frozen and bakery products supplier 2 Sisters Food Group has installed a Microsoft Dynamics navigation-based LINKFresh supply chain business management system from Anglia Business Solutions.

The integrated end-to-end supply chain software provides mobility for stock management, quality control, intake, picking, dispatch, label verification and printing. It also has touch- screen applications to hygienically track and trace product and labour in real time throughout the shopfloor.

Andy Marshall, group systems manager at 2 Sisters Food Group said: "The operational date for our new factory facility in Thetford was fixed, so the timescale was tight, with no contingency for slippage.

"Even in the early days of production activities in the new factory, we can already see the benefits that the LINKFresh solution provides. These include easy-to-use product traceability facilities and impressive productivity statistics on the factory floor."
