The third most popular article was "Botulism recall hits Premier power brand plan" (November 14). Faith in Premier's power brand strategy was shaken after a batch of Loyd Grossman sauces were recalled as a result of two people contracted botulism from the product.
The firm ordered a recall of a batch of 350g jars of Loyd Grossman Korma sauce, with a best-before date of February 13, after two members of the same family were hospitalised from the illness in Scotland.

What happened next? In November, Grossman’s agent, Peter Schnabl, said the Food Standards Agency’s announcement that no contamination had been found at the firm’s factory at Bury St Edmunds meant responsibility for the outbreak rested further down the supply chain.
