Called Expert, the new line is the result of several months' work in which VMI developers sought to meet baking industry demands for easy to clean and maintain mixers that meet the most stringent hygiene requirements while at the same time providing the required power, robustness and versatility.
VMI mixers are supplied and supported in the UK and Ireland by bakery equipment supplier European Process Plant.
The position of the spiral and centre post in the retaining bowl of the mixer can also be adjusted, allowing an additional spiral to be added. This means the Expert can be easily adapted from a single to twin spiral mixer.
The speed of the bowl and tools can easily be controlled and the position of the centre post in the retaining bowl can be adjusted, which allows a wide range of doughs to be produced.
The unit can also be installed as part of an in-line or carousel automatic mixing system. It joins the VMI range of removable bowl spiral and double spiral mixers, which have individual dough batch capacities up to 900kg.
