Endress+Hauser's Soliphant M level limit switch has been upgraded. The new device retains the features of the previous version, Soliphant II, namely insensitivity to build-up, lack of moving parts and no calibration required, but now includes additional benefits.

It has a smaller fork option for small tanks; density sensitivity adjustment: and more electronic output options.

The temperature limit of the high-temperature version has also been raised to 280°C.

The switch is available in high-temperature, coated and polished versions. The multi-layer polymer coated version is for very aggressive media .

Endress+Hauser now also offers Excalibur coating, which avoids build-up and protects against abrasion and can withstand temperatures of up to 230°C.

The polished version has an improved stainless steel surface roughness which has been reduced to 0.8µm making it easy to clean and ideal for use in hygienic applications.
