Marsden, The Weighing Company has introduced a new washdown, portion control checkweigher, the Digi DS-470SS.
The Class III approved stainless steel scale, which meets IP66, features minimum and maximum target display and an analogue colour bar graph showing the target weight.
Other key features are a RS232/set point interface, 10 keys for tare and target weight entry, negative weighing and auto tare feature, all operating within an approved multi range of 6kg, 15kg, or 30kg.
The scale is constructed to withstand overload, but isn't heavy on price, at £550 plus VAT.
The company says the Digi offers food manufacturers accurate portion control combined with the hygienic convenience offered by a stainless steel scale.
