Thomas Lowndes has reinforced its sales team with the appointment of Victor Griffiths as national account manager.
Griffiths will be responsible for promoting and developing Thomas Lowndes' recently expanded portfolio of branded alcohol to the retail and food service sectors. Reporting to md John Meyer, and replacing Andrew Gibbons, he will work with new and existing customers to develop fresh ideas and innovative new opportunities for alcohol brands in food.
He joins after 15 years at Pepsico as an account manager working across a range of high profile brands such as Walkers, Quaker and Tropicana predominantly in the food service sector. Griffiths is also a fully qualified chef and brings with him a wealth of experience in food service, catering and sales.
Griffiths comments: “My experience to date will stand me in good stead for developing the Thomas Lowndes brands and taking the business on further. I'm looking forward to broadening my expertise and working with some of the biggest alcohol brand names in the world.”
Jo Weaver also joins the Thomas Lowndes team as operations manager from her previous role as procurement co-ordinator at Beam Global (owner of Thomas Lowndes & Co). She is responsible for logistics, pricing, stock forecasting and overseeing customer service with suppliers and third parties.
