Clean matt polymer finish
A new roller-applied matt finish coating has been added to Liquid Plastics' range of hygiene coatings.
Sterimatt, like its mid-sheen equivalent Sterisheen, is an elastomeric coating with inherent ingredients that prevent the growth of micro-organisms, such as mould, bacteria and yeasts, on its surface.
An application of Sterimatt will cure to provide a smooth, matt finish, guaranteed to remain effective for at least 10 years. This is particularly beneficial in areas that need a high level of hygiene control, for example food manufacturing premises, where a smooth, matt finish is required.
Sterimatt is also claimed to be completely seamless and resistant to impact and harsh cleaning regimes. It does not crack or flake and is water-based, allowing application without any strong odours.
