Leeds-based Boost Drinks has added a low-calorie cranberry variant to its line of energy drinks.

With added taurine, caffeine and vitamins, Boost Cranberry is designed to lift energy levels and increase alertness. The company says it can be consumed as a soft drink or mixer and can be stored at ambient temperature.

The Boost range was introduced to fill a gap in the energy drink market for a value for money product. The drinks are a bigger offering with a one litre polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle retailing at just 99p.

Other variants in the range include the original flavour Boost and a sugar-free variant Boost Light.
