Textured flooring can improve workplace safety

Degussa Construction Chemicals has introduced a new range of heavy-duty polyurethane slip resistant industrial flooring.

The Ucrete flooring series aims to combat slip and trip hazards using a consistent surface profile with a choice of three exterior textures. Models DP10, DP20 and DP30 offer varying levels of slip-resistance, allowing manufacturers to choose the most cost-effective product for their working environment.

Ucrete industrial flooring is dense, impervious and can be installed at three different thicknesses: a 4mm floor is usable at temperatures of 60°C; while 6mm floors are able to withstand temperatures of up to 70°C and can be steam cleaned lightly; the 9mm floors are fully steam cleanable and can cope with extreme thermal shock of up to 120°C.

All models are resistant to liquid spillage and the flooring can be directly applied to newly-laid concrete.
