A new concept in the supply of portion cutting equipment to processors of meat, fish, and poultry has been introduced by Scanvaegt. 'Pay-per-Cut' is said to incorporate the use of the latest products and is designed to save users from any capital investment.

"We install portion cutting equipment at the premises of customers and charge them as and when they use it, rather like the old photocopying system when people paid per copy made," says Roy Mercer of Scanvaegt GB. "It is not a new idea by any means but we believe that we have honed it to suit our customers."
