Luxury chocolate maker Lindt is expanding its portfolio in the run up to Halloween and for the busy Christmas period.

New to its range of Excellence chocolate bars is Intense Orange, a combination that Lindt had previously trialled in a limited edition format. The 100g bar contains pieces of orange and almond. It is being backed by a £1m TV campaign later this month.

The company is also extending its chocolate bar offerings with a range of thicker nut-based bars. Its new Dark Hazelnut, Milk Hazelnut and White Almond bars each contain around 34% nuts and come in 150g packs at an rsp of £1.99.

For Halloween, Lindt has launched Witch's Hat and Pumpkin lines of chocolates, which are presented in novelty shaped boxes. Both are filled with crisped rice and hazelnut truffles. It also intends to launch a reindeer version of its popular Golden Bunny in time for Christmas.
