Convergers and divergers aid the coming and going

A range of divergers and convergers has been added to Raque Food Systems' machinery portfolio. They are designed to handle various products and speeds.

Lane divergers have their own programmable logic control (PLC) systems for handling the diverging sequence. Detected via a photocell, product is carried on non-slip carrier plates into the required lane.

For multiple lane applications, the PLC can be programmed to generate alternative patterns, for loading a freezer for example. This arrangement allows more product to be loaded on the outside of a spiral belt than on the inside, helping to increase freezer efficiency.
