As if to underline the potential versatility of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in the as yet largely undeveloped dairy sector, Continental company Campina has launched two products in the same style of 250ml bottle.

Campina has used ribbed bottles with a full-length shrink sleeve to pack its Stassano Gastronomie extra light cream and its Smoothie product. The bottles are supplied by Amcor PET Packaging.

The same pack allows Campina to target the growing on-the-move market for food and drink, in the case of the smoothie, and the home use market with the cream.

For added consumer convenience, the sleeve for the cream bottle includes a clear vertical strip with measuring marks.
