Food and agri group Cranswick is to buy Perkins Chilled Foods division of Perkins Food Group for £80.6m.
The deal, which includes the purchase of Brookfield Foods and Studleigh-Royd cooked meat and poultry companies, is subject to shareholder approval. A decision is expected on January 6.
