Make more money from food production
Food and drink processors groaning under severe pressure to cut costs and increase efficiency for customers are being offered a lifeline in the form of Food Manufacture's Profitable Production conference.
Topics ranging from lean manufacturing techniques and efficient data and software systems to robotics, automation and novel food processes will be covered at the event.
Speakers include Kaarin Goodburn, secretary general of the Chilled Foods Association, Sameh Saad, professor of enterprise modelling and management at Sheffield Hallam University, and professor Peter Hines, chairman of the Lean Enterprise Research Centre.
The event is scheduled to take place on November 3 at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire. Discounts are available for parties of four or more and those booking before August 31 and delegates get a free copy of the Shingo prize-winning book Staying Lean.
